• Freelance consultant to the natural resources and renewables sectors, specialising in strategic advisory and ESG-related mandates
• Over 20 years of mining industry experience, with a particular focus on M&A, investment and JV agreement negotiation, exploration project management, bankable feasibility studies, and closing out environmental legacy issues
• Worked for Rio Tinto based in the UK for 17 years (2000-2006, 2011-2022), also for De Beers based in Russia (2006-2008), and for Severstal in Liberia (2009-2011).  Five years of prior experience in metals & mining equity research
• Senior Board Advisor to AWR Lloyd since early 2023
• Holds PhD in Geology from Imperial College (Royal School of Mines)
