Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos

In Laos, AWR Lloyd has advised a junior exploration company on a capital-raising for a copper exploration project. We have also advised a number of large power groups on various projects in the country. We have also advised a trading venture and a mining company on diesel procurement for projects in Laos.

In Myanmar AWR Lloyd advised a large Chinese company in relation to the acquisition of some oil and gas assets – and advised a Japanese group in relation to coal market potential. AWR Lloyd has worked on a number of feasibility studies in Myanmar including an offshore supply base, a multi-purpose port and industrial estate in Mandalay and a container port expansion in Yangon.

In Cambodia, AWR Lloyd provided a study for the country’s Energy Masterplan, an assignment sponsored by BG (British Gas) and the Cambodian National Petroleum Authority. AWR Lloyd completed work for two new oil and gas terminal and storage projects in Cambodia.
