Specialist energy industry financial advisory firm AWR Lloyd announces new Hong Kong, Seoul and Hanoi teams

AWR Lloyd Limited (www.awrlloyd.com), specialist energy and minerals sector advisory firm, is this year launching consulting teams in Hong Kong, Seoul and Hanoi. AWR Lloyd works with energy, mining and metals industry clients in the Asia-Pacific region offering advisory services in M&A, financial strategy, investor relations (‘IR’), market research, project feasibility and project finance.

AWR Lloyd’s Sydney-based Chairman, George Lloyd, commented on the firm’s regional expansion:

“The energy and metals sectors are booming – and the demand for AWR Lloyd’s services has expanded considerably over the past couple of years. Hong Kong

Alex Luedi – Director
Over twenty years experience, mainly in Asia, in project finance and investment banking (UBS) and the energy industry (China Light & Power, Mirant and Shell). Alex was recently appointed a Director of AWR Lloyd.

Eric (Kai) Yu –Consultant
MBA from the University of Wyoming (US) and BS degree from Jinan University (Guangzhou), Eric is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

South Korea

Hal Kaiser – Senior Consultant
Thirteen years of energy industry experience (oil, gas, LNG, power…), primarily in midstream and downstream project development and execution with Texaco, Chevron and Macquarie.

Sam Koh – Senior Consultant
Twelve years experience assisting international companies (energy, real estate and retail) develop their businesses in South Korea. Joined AWR Lloyd in 2007.

Vietnam

Vu Quoc Dat – Senior Consultant
Ten years working in industry and government in Vietnam. Dat was an officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Industry & Trade for nine years (focus on energy, mining and metals).

Le Thanh Lam – Senior Consultant
Ten years experience working in industry and government in Vietnam. Deputy Director in the Vietnam Competition Administration and Senior Official for the WTO Division of the Ministry of Trade.

Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang – Analyst
Trang has a degree in International Trade Economics from the Foreign Trade University. She is fluent in English and is focused on industry and market research.
