AWR Lloyd Capital

AWRL Capital is an investment advisor to BSCM in relation to its management of the Baker Steel Resources Trust (BSRT.L) and is also developing an independent mining private equity business platform around specific investment opportunities as opposed to a fund approach. Emphasis is on acquiring low cost operating mines and projects counter cyclically, paying investors significant dividends, alignment of all parties around each investment objective, good corporate governance and exiting, preferably, via trade sale.

AWRL Capital is part of the AWR Lloyd group of companies and is managed by Jeremy Ayre, ex Rio Tinto and one of AWR Lloyd’s founders.

AWR Lloyd Asset Management

AWR Lloyd Asset Management was established in the Cayman Islands in 2013 as an Excluded Person under the Securities Investment Business Law (2011 Revision) to acquire, develop and manage funds focused on the Asia-Pacific region. AWR Lloyd Asset Management’s first fund was acquired and relaunched in 2014 as the ‘Greater Mekong Alpha Investment Fund’ with the objective of investing in listed and unlisted companies in the Greater Mekong region (Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia) with a friendly activist shareholder approach. AWR Lloyd Asset Management also has plans to launch a natural resource sector private equity fund.

AWR Lloyd Asset Management is part of the AWR Lloyd group of companies and was co-founded by George Lloyd, Alexander Wood, Chris Larkin and Doug Kinsella. The company’s Managing Director is Alexander Wood, one of the co-founders of AWR Lloyd.
