New AWR Lloyd office in Ho Chi Minh City

Congratulations to the Vietnam team on their move to a new (and bigger !) office in Ho Chi Minh City overlooking the Saigon River ! Please join me in wishing AWR Lloyd Vietnam great things in the years ahead, building momentum on their recent success.
AWR Lloyd has been active in Vietnam for nearly 15 years advising both Vietnamese and international clients on strategy, project feasibility and M&A.
Much of our work over the years has been in the energy and infrastructure sectors. We have managed several assignments for affiliates of the PetroVietnam group. For example, AWR Lloyd was part of the consortium that advised PV Gas on the feasibility of a new LNG terminal and we have prepared a number of studies and business plans for PetroVietnam Oil Stockpiling for underground oil storage projects. We also advised PetroVietnam Finance Corporation on its listing on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange and on the development of an investor relations programme.
For other clients in the resources and infrastructure sectors we have provided feasibility studies and investment advisory services in relation to greenfield refinery and oil terminal projects at Van Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Long Son and Can Tho on the Mekong River Delta – and industrial zone projects at Ba Ria Vung Tau and Phu Yen. In the mining sector we advised a UK-based private equity fund on a chromite mine investment.
In recent years, under Ms Hanh’s leadership we have diversified, towards the end of last year advising on the sale of a leading financial services company in Vietnam to Korea’s largest financial institution for US$34 million. AWR Lloyd has also worked on other financial services, technology and telecoms sector assignments in Vietnam.
